It’s a play on binge-watching. How we are all consuming in such massive quantities. I wanted to make a playful love song about television. So the verses are like SONNET 18 and the choruses SONNET 130. The “moon in June” cheese of the verse uses playful references to television; “Are you still watching?” “Lets get through all the seasons.” And the chorus is the harsh reality, “Television is better than YOU.”
